Singing Lass in the Spotlight

As an aspiring opera singer, Kimkins Admin Singing Lass, aka Delaney Deaver, most likely loves being in the spotlight. However, being in the spotlight of the Kimkins scandal is not going to be an accomplishment she would want to add to her resume.

Delaney has refused to leave Kimkins despite being encouraged to do so repeatedly by LCF posters and even her former "friend" and co-conspirator Tippy Toes.

Delaney doesn't seem to realize the trouble she is facing. By continuing to support a fraud, she may be liable for legal repercussions. Despite this, she is a staunch supporter of Kimmer and Kimkins and has appeared on national TV twice to support the Kimkins Diet.

The class action lawyer, Tiedt, plans to depose Singing Lass and any other Kimkins admins (even though I think the sock puppet Gary may be excused). If Delaney has not contacted a lawyer on her own by now, I suggest she probably should.

WHAT IS A DEPOSITION?

A deposition is one of the methods that lawyers can use to find out information to help prepare a case for trial. Normally, a deposition can be taken of anyone who may have relevant information about the facts of the case.

The person who is deposed is called the deponent. At your deposition, you are able to have your attorney present. Normally, the other lawyer is also present as is the opposing party. In the room also is a court reporter who will take notes and make sure that the deposition is properly recorded. The deposition can be recorded by tape, typed up with a special transcriber machine, and/or placed on videotape. You will be placed under oath and the attorney for the other side can ask you questions about your case. Your attorney will be able to object to the questions asked, if appropriate. After the deposition is completed, either side can ask that it be typed up (transcribed.)

The most important thing you can do at your deposition is to tell the truth. You are initially placed under oath and you have sworn to tell the "truth, the whole truth and nothing but the truth."

Singing Lass might want to listen to Tippy Toes:

"You may not realize it, but the deposition is evidence that may be used against you in not only this lawsuit but any other(s) which may follow. You must tell the truth, of course. Claiming you barely talk to Heidi as you have done here may come back to haunt you later. You should be aware that your computer may be siezed as evidence. If you are caught lying on the depo in contrast to what will be found on your computer (deleted or not–it’s all still there and will surface) you may be held accountable for the Kimkins scam."

I hope Sl decides to cut herself a deal if John will take one from her now and leave the kimpire.

The legal stuff is fascinating as always, and I know I'm not the only one who appreciate your taking the time to explain about it.

Thank you!

I'm always curious about WHY people do whatever it is they do.

What are your thoughts as far as SL's "why's" are concerned?

The only thing that makes any sense to me, and certainly I could be wrong, is that SL is as "into" scamming as Heidi is.

I think you are right. Look up "kasamba" on ripoffreport. I don't know what name SL uses on that site but there are more than 150 complaints for psychic fortune tellers.

A while back lots of googling took place re Kasamba and SL. Can't recall what her name was there, but it was a really interesting foray into that ...uh ... realm?

It looks like Singinglass has gone into sock puppet business... not only at AmyB's and KK but also at LCF as littlesina.
